I met Amy + Matt in person the day of their wedding which has definitely never happened to me before. If I were to imagine myself in that scenario previously, I would have broken out in a cold sweat over how to give them my best and feel emotionally invested in their day and them as a couple, as basically perfect strangers! As I walked up the steps to their flat on the morning of, Amy saw me out of the window and screamed "YAAAS IT'S VIKKI-KAAAATE!" - instantly I knew I was going to have the best day ever. And I was right! Amy is the nicest fucking person you could ever meet, till you meet Matt and you're like "oh there's two of them I get this now."
They are BESOTTED with each other and in the most genuine way that is so infectious to be around. By the time their ceremony was over I felt like I'd known not only them as a couple but their friends forever, by the time the whole day was over I felt like I was part of the family! These guys have such an incredible support network around them who love them both to death and it shows, who says Tinder doesn't work!
I could ramble on about the styling of this day forever so I'm going to keep it short and sweet, it was epic. They have such an individual nostalgic sense of style and those touches were everywhere, from Amy's incredible hair to the unreal colours in the florals and venue with a million other gag-worthy moments in between, no detail was spared and everything came together spectacularly. I felt like I was shooting some weird amazing hybrid of Stranger Things, This is England and Blackadder all set on set of a Wes Anderson movie. It was the best kind of bonkers and a feast for the eyes as well as the soul.
Sooo many congratulations to this amazing couple, you deserve happiness like no other xxx
